Happy Sunday everyone! With school starting back up again tomorrow, posting will be scarce but I promise I'm not going anywhere and I'll try my best!
I wanna talk about blogging for a second. I know, I know...how original. With all the talk of GOMI/Shamepuff going around, I think it's something to address. I think I may shock some people when I say...I love it. As a person who often makes fun of others and herself (you should hear me and my friends conversations...they're downright nasty) I think it's a good contrast to all the "fakery" (sorry!) that gets put out on the internet. Come on, we've all been there. We're starting our little blogs and suddenly, in the heat to become the next Blair or Emily we get totally caught up in followers and buying new things (J CREW FOR THE WIN!) and being...well, a crazy shamepuffing, shametucking, craze following blogger. I'll admit...I started that way. I started as a girl blogging for the sake of people seeing her...but you know what I have transformed into? A girl who loves blogging. I blog on the days that I have 14 followers, I blog on the days I have zero comments, because I have come to love it. I am superficial; I love taking pictures of myself. I live in Oklahoma and I love fashion, blogging is an outlet I can't find much around here. I will admit all of my faults; I am a crazy blogger...but it's fun! We make fun of the lady who who paints doll faces in her basement, or the crazy gamers who can't even open their hand up all the way anymore and what they're doing is just as crazy...but none of us would really fault them because they're having fun. So what if you're wearing the bauble necklace after Blair did? We can't all be rich socialites! So what if GOMI thinks your shoes were a bad choice...they probably were! In no way do I think blogging should be taken quite as seriously as it sometimes is and I too fall prey to that trap from time to time....but I'm learning to be okay with it. I am a crazy shamepuffing (well, not really...I hate my hair up), shametucking, bauble necklace wearing, chevron rocking, polka dot loving blogger...and I love it. ;)
Beautiful! Your blouse is such a pretty color and the necklace is the perfect accessory.

Loved this post! I read GOMI and I think it's refreshing to know other bloggers do also. As long as you are having fun that's all that matters!
